What are the health benefits of Protalus?

Protalus insoles improve comfort, performance, and mobility through alignment. Discomfort often occurs when structures of the body are subjected to forces they aren't designed to withstand. When your body is properly aligned, the force of each step is more evenly distributed throughout the kinetic chain, reducing pressure, inflammation, and strain on your body.

What is 'hindfoot alignment' and why is it important?

'Hindfoot is the term used to refer to the heel, ankle, and surrounding connective tissues. When the ankle and heel are out of alignment, or rather your ankle moves inward or outward beyond a safe range of motion, the other structures in your body can be negatively affected. When a misalignment is present at the hindfoot, the foot and other weight-bearing joints such as the knees, hips, and even the back cannot distribute pressure properly and may fatigue faster, feel pain, or even be more susceptible to injury.

If I'm in between sizes, should I size up or down?

Based on customer feedback, we recommend sizing down a half size. For example, if you are a women's 8, size down to a women's 7 - 7.5.

Home alone

I purchased these this summer with the expectation that I would wear them to events. But, they have become my go-to shoe when home. I have hardwood floors and planter’s fasciitis. These shoes provide perfect support for my feet. I can’t wait to get home, after a long day at work, and put these shoes on. I highly recommend them..

Best Sandal Ever

It’s the perfect sandal. Prior to wearing this sandal I had foot pain all the time which made it difficult to walk. This sandal reduced the pain by at least 70%.

I wear these as my in-house shoes so I haven’t walked long distances in them. The straps are very stiff and rub my skin - hoping they will soften with wear. I had to make an exchange to a smaller size - great customer service!
