“Heel pain can be caused by a number of conditions including neuritis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, heel spurs, and so on. Protalus insoles are the only insoles on the market that I have found to completely address the entire spectrum of factors that contribute to heel pain.”

Not very pliable

I thought these inserts would be soft and easy to insert, but the back half is stiff. They are OK for athletic shoes, but don't work with thinner dress shoes.

Protalus

Hi Debra,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear that! It can help to loosen the laces to allow a larger opening if the shoe is particularly small. If the insole is just a bit too long and that is making it harder to push the back into the shoe, the insoles can be trimmed without affecting performance or the guarantee. For lower volume shoes, like dress shoes, where there is less space for an insole, we just launched the preorder for our new 3/4 length styles. Those should help take up even less space in the shoe. :)

Let us know if you have any questions at all!

Best Regards,
Drew
