I'm a personal trainer, Pilates instructor and health coach and have been in the fitness industry for 15 years. I train clients 35+ hours per week. And, I'm on my feet for much that time.
My knee and foot pain (plantar fasciitis) was so significant that I thought I'd have to reduce my workload. Sitting down as often as I could really didn't help.
And, as a competitive boxer, once I was done at work, I went to workout. I pushed through pain because my sport is important to me. However, I finally reached the breaking point where I thought I'd have to really reduce my own training if I wanted to keep working training others.
I have a large box of all sorts of braces, wraps, arch supports and other gear I tried to try and solve my problem. I tried acupuncture, chiropractic, and Rolfing (massage) with only limited success.
In a last-ditch effort to try and keep doing what I love to do professionally and personally, I tried the Protalus M100. I noticed a significant difference in the first hours that I wore them. Placebo effect? Nope! When I went without them, I also noticed a significant difference, but not the good kind.
Since my first pair of M100s, I've ordered a second pair of M100s, and also added the T100 and H75 to my collection. I never put on a pair of shoes without making sure I've put a Protalus insole in first.
