The T-100 introduced your foot to correct geometry. The M-100 is the full version — deeper walls, more of your foot guided through the correct motion sequence, through more of every step, under more load.

This is our flagship. In an independent 3D motion capture study (BioMechanica LLC, Dr. Martyn Shorten, Ph.D., 2019), 28 out of 31 people walked within correct mechanical range with the M-100. The T-100 gets 19. A standard foam insole gets 3.

One requirement: your footwear needs room. Boots, work shoes, and most shoes with removable insoles have it. If your shoes are snug with the T-100, you may be able to get away with the M-75.

Put them in your shoes. Take a step. Your body will tell you. 95 out of 100 say yes. The other 5 get every cent back.

Great insole, so far

So far I am very impressed with the support that these insoles have given. I was suffering from ball of foot pain and I work 2 nights with no issues. I will let you know at the end of my 90 days.

Old faithfuls

Got another set, and extra pair, of M100s, which I've run in and hiked the world in for years. Saved tons of money on custom orthotics which I used a long time ago. My current podiatrist recommended them. He's a genius! Thanks Protalus! And your customer service rocks the house!

Hi William,

Thanks for sharing! We find that there can be an adjustment period for your body to adjust to proper alignment. It may take your body a few weeks to adjust to the new alignment. Customers who have worn our insoles for at least 30 days have achieved the best results.

  • Make sure you've removed any factory insole from your shoes before inserting your Protalus insoles. Our insoles need to lay flat in the shoes to work correctly.

  • Try them in different shoes. Sometimes shoes can significantly affect the performance of our insoles.

  • Tie and re-tie your shoes throughout the day. Hot spots can happen because your foot is moving out of sync with your shoe. Tying and re-tying your shoes unite your feet, shoes and our insoles, so they can move as one.

  • Lastly, we recommend the stretches listed at https://www.protalus.com/pages/stretches if possible. This especially helps in the process of alignment so that your body adjusts properly!
