Before Protalus I had tried many different insoles and none helped my plantar fasciitis, I was to the point of buying a different kind of insole every week or two. Tried the gel ones not good. Tried the memory foam not good. Tried the ones you put in the oven to warm up that form to your feet not good. During one of my many trips to attempt to find an insole that would help my foot pain, a gentleman approached me after noticing that I was staring a the insole display with a discouraged look, he took off his shoe and showed me the insole that he said helped him when nothing else did. By this time I was ready to purchase custom orthopedics 4 to 5 hundred dollars. I had all but given up on insoles, however, I decided to try this insole before getting orthopedics. The first few days my ankles were sore however this was something I expected due to the instructions advising that these insoles would help align joints the had not been in proper alignment for years. After about 3 to 5, I came home from work one day and realized that my feet didn't hurt. BOTTOM LINE FOR ME BEFORE THESE, I HAD A LOT OF FOOT PAIN AND WAS BARELY ABLE TO MAKE IT THROUGH AN 8 HR SHIFT. AFTER THESE INSOLES, I HAVE WORKED A LOT OF 12 AND SOME 16 HR DAYS WITH NO PAIN.
