I used to be an avid runner (about 30 miles a week). However for the last four years that has slowly declined, thanks to plantar fasciitis. I tried everything from custom insoles to special shoes; I could still run about twice a week but had to contend with aching knees and had to spend several hours icing and massaging my feet. Even after spending thousands on various "relief" I still found none.
When I came across Protalus on my Facebook feed and saw the reviews, I thought this was just another gimmick product. With great hesitation, I ordered a pair of the Protalus insoles S in December and have used them for a few weeks now.
With these insoles, I have been able to run a couple of miles five times a week and am working towards building back up to five miles a day, and the best part - no knee pain and I have not iced or massaged my feet since I started using these insoles.
Protalus may or may not work for everyone, but it definitely worked for me. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, I would recommend at least giving it a try.
