Throughout nursing school, I battled debilitating heel pain. I went to the podiatrist and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I could hardly stand 12 hour clinical due to heel pain causing foot pain, then calf pain, then thigh pain...I could hardly walk which makes it hard to function as a nurse.
