Jack Sodoma

My Name is Jack Sodoma. I am a professional caddie at Pinehurst Resort, the cradle of American golf. I have been walking the fairways of the famed #2 golf course, that has hosted 4 US Open Championships. On an average day I walk between 8 and 16 miles every day, usually carrying two golf bags.

Shortly after the 2014 US open I developed a debilitating case of plantar fasciitis I could usually get through 13-14 holes without having any pain. But would limp in from there, and my longest walk of the day was from the car to the house, if you have plantar fasciitis you know what I am talking about. I tried everything different shoes, physical therapy, rest etc. Nothing seemed to make it better. Recently I tried a pair of the Protalus insoles.

It was like a miracle. I felt some popping in my knees and hips, then my heel start to feel funny, then the pain went away all together. I have been wearing them ever since.

Thanks Protalus I thought I was going to have to stop caddying but I now feel like I did when I first started.
