I was totally at my wits end with the pain in my foot and I thought Protalus would be my last option next to surgery. I injured my foot when I stepped on a toy and pierced the main nerve in my arch and Hyperextended my toes and the top of my foot. The jolt upon impact was nothing like I have ever felt. It was the most horrific electric shock that traveled all the way to my brain in a second. I was left with a foot that no longer felt anything but constant PAIN and felt like I was walking on shards of glass. My knees started aching, parts of my legs felt hot and on fire, and my right hip throbbed. I tried multiple kinds of pain cream, a cortisone shot, boots, arch supports, compression socks, etc... but it was only as a last resort that I tried Protalus in a desperate attempt to save my foot.
I thought what else do I have to lose?! After just a week my pain in my foot started to diminish. After 30 days my pain was pretty much gone, not only in my foot but all over my body. I no longer cry or feel hopeless. I am a very busy mom and an avid lady hunter, and a member of a choir and all I can say is Protalus insoles have SAVED MY LIFE in so many ways. I was at a point in which I wanted my foot to be cut off rather than to feel the pain. But now after 60 days, I don't want to sit down!
